Out Of Hours Service
We are writing to provide information on the new Integrated Urgent Care service that goes live on 11:00am on 30 March.
Jointly commissioned by NHS Bedfordshire and NHS Luton CCGs, the new service is designed to simplify access to urgent, but non-emergency care.
The service will be run by Herts Urgent Care (HUC) and brings together both the 111 service and the GP Out of Hours (OOH) services, ensuring a seamless transition into primary urgent care provision.
It will provide one single point of access and offer a comprehensive service which signposts to the most appropriate healthcare provision.
