The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, driving license renewal, fitness to fly, fitness to use a gym, fitness to race cars, fitness to scuba dive, private prescriptions, Our fees for these services, which are in line with BMA approved national guidelines, are displayed in the surgery. (Please note that 10 clear working days are required to complete all forms, fitness to certificates etc.)
PAYMENT OF FEES
Payment of fees for medicals must be paid at least 2 working days in advance of the appointment. You can pay the required fees by a credit/debit card (we do not accept American Express or Solo) or cash we do not accept cheques.
VISITORS FROM ABROAD
If you are not a visitor from a country that has a reciprocal agreement with the UK then you will not be permitted to free NHS services. We hold a list of all Countries that have reciprocal agreements. If your country of residence falls outside of these areas then a fee of £75 will be charged for the first consultation, you will also need to pay for any medication and diagnostic tests that may be required.
